New Transitional Housing for Whānau

We'd like to thank all the MSD kaimahi who came to help our kaimahi to prepare 12 transitional apartments for whānau last week. It was good timing, as we were setting up beds, moving in washing machines and fridges, whānau were bringing in their tamariki and belongings. All apartments are occupied already.
We prepared 9 new transitional apartments in central Kirikiriroa, and 3 new transitional apartments in Dinsdale. Here's the view of the 9 central apartments from the top floor of our office in Rostrevor Street.

And here's the view of our office from the apartments. We're virtually neighbours!!

We hope whānau find some relief in these transitional apartments as they search for more permanent housing. We thank all those who helped awhi and tautoko this project and we look forward to finding more ways to assist whānau in need within Kirikiriroa.
